The CVC Player of the Week for March 24 is Sam Candland, a senior outside hitter from Southern Virginia University. 

Candland helped the Knights extend their winning streak to 23 matches to open the year after picking up three more wins last week. He averaged 3.44 kills and 1.67 digs per set while hitting .333 over the three matches. 

He reached double digit kills twice on the week, with a high of 12 kills against Kean, a match in which he hit .556 on 18 swings. Candland totaled 15 digs and 6 total blocks on the week, finishing with 39 total points.
