Christian Sheaffer claims his second straight CVC Player of the Week award and third this season after helping Southern Virginia University extend their winning streak to 16 matches to open the year.

Sheaffer, a senior outside hitter, led the Knights to a sweep of CVC opponent Marymount University in his team's only match of the week. Sheaffer put down 10 kills on just 16 attempts, hitting .500 in the match. He added two service aces and an assist, totaling 13.5 points in the match. Sheaffer also recorded five digs and three block assists on the defensive end.
