Despite maintaining an undefeated record this season, Southern Virginia University dropped one spot in this week's AVCA Division III Men's Volleyball Poll; falling to #2 after holding the top spot for the first three polls of the season. 

The Knights totaled 581 points this week, receiving 13 first-place votes. They lost only four points from last week but had five fewer first-place selections. The Knights are 6-0 on the season and open up CVC play this weekend with matches against newcomers Drew and Wilkes.

Meanwhile fellow CVC member Juniata College moved up one spot to #4 this week. The Eagles are 10-1 on the year and totaled 493 points this week, eight more points than last week. They are coming off back-to-back wins over ranked opponents last week, Baldwin-Wallace and Stevens. The Eagles will continue their run against ranked opponents with a match against #11 Messiah on Friday before facing CVC member Rutgers-Newark on Saturday.
