Southern Virginia University outside hitter Jeremy Brown has been tabbed the first CVC Player of the Week for the 2024 season. The junior helped the Knights to a perfect week, sweeping both matches. 

He totaled 23 kills in the two matches, hitting .357 on the week and averaging 3.83 kills per set. Brown also recorded five aces and was a perfect 22-of-22 on serve receptions, adding five digs and two blocks. He finished with 29 total points on the week, an average of 4.8 per set.

Brown had a career-high 16 kills in the season opener against Eastern, hitting .636 in the match and tallying 20 total points.
