Kean and Southern Virginia Hold in AVCA Poll

It was much the same in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III Men's Volleyball poll including Continental Volleyball Conference representatives Kean University and Southern Virginia University holding their positions on the rankings from the previous week.

Kean picked up an additional three points in this week's poll for 317 points but held at #3 on the poll. The Cougars are 19-4 overall this season and 8-0 in the CVC and picked up two first-place votes. They face a busy conference schedule this week with matches against Rutgers-Newark, Eastern Mennonite, and Southern Virginia.

Southern Virginia stayed at #11 with 129 points. The Knights are 18-2 overall and 9-0 in the CVC. They face Brewton-Parker, Rutgers-Newark, and Kean this week.

The top six teams remained the same in this week's poll with just one team dropping out of the rankings. Carthage stayed in the top spot with 344 points, picking up 18 first-place votes. They were followed by Springfield at #2 and then CVC member Kean while Stevens and Benedictine (IL) round out the top five.
