CVC Three Stay Strong in AVCA Poll

The three representatives from the Continental Volleyball Conference held strong in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association Men's Volleyball Top 15 Poll. For the fourth straight week, the trio appears in the Top 15 poll. 

Kean University comes in at #5 on the poll with 258 points. The Cougars are 12-3 overall and picked up an additional six points from last week when they were tied for 5th. They are scheduled to face Ramapo on Wednesday and then have three matches over the weekend including a rematch of the 2018 CVC Championship match against Marymount University.

Southern Virginia University moved up one spot to #10 this week, accumulating 142 points. The Knights are 10-1 overall this season and have won seven consecutive matches. They face Marymount tonight before taking on Neumann, Cairn, and Liberty this weekend.

Holding at #14 on the poll is Juniata College. The Eagles are 9-2 overall and picked up 43 total points. They will face Geneva and Lancaster Bible in non-conference matches this weekend. 

Springfield is once again tops in the poll with 359 points and 23 of 24 first-place votes. Stevens comes is at #2 while Benedictine is #3, and Carthage is at #4.
