Next week marks the fifth annual NCAA Division III Week, a week long celebration of student-athletes, coaches, campuses, and members of the Division III community. This year's Division III week runs from April 4-10 and will include opportunities for people to get to know all those involved in what makes Division III a success.

During the week NCAA Division III members are encouraged to participate in a community outreach activity involving one of three categories: academic accomplishment, athletic experience, or leadership/community service/campus involvement.

In addition NCAA Division III offices are encouraging schools to join the "It's On Us" campaign by submitting their own 60-second video clip. The winning school receives $500 and their video will play during the Women's Basketball Championship game. The "It's On Us" campaign raises awareness of sexual abuse on campus and seeks to end sexual assault.

All week long schools will be doing special feature stories on student-athletes and coaches, as well as volunteering in the community, and various interactive activities on campus. Be sure to look for Continental Volleyball Conference schools joining in the NCAA Division III Week and look for the hashtags #WhyD3 and #myD3.
