Cody Chidsey, the reigning CVC Player of the Year, picked the perfect time to earn his first Player of the Week award for the 2016 season. Chidsey powered his team to a pair of conference wins last week, including a win over #7 ranked Stevenson, who was undefeated in conference play entering the match. Chidsey put down five kills on just seven attempts in a sweep of Cairn, adding two blocks. He was just as unstoppable in his team's sweep of Stevenson, finishing with 10 kills on just 11 swings and adding four blocks. He finished the week hitting .778 with 15 kills, four digs, and six total blocks; averaging 3.1 points per set.

Other Notables:

  • Jordan Pawlicki, Marymount University - Pawlicki finished with 47 assists, averaging 11.75 assists per set, in his team's match against Stevenson.
  • Zach Rombach, Thiel College - Rombach had a career high 53 assists in his team's 3-1 win over Penn State-Altoona; adding 15 digs for his sixth double-double this season.
