KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Tomcat men's volleyball notched their seventh consecutive victory as they defeated Keuka College 3-0 Friday evening.
With the win the Tomcats now have the longest win streak in the programs' three-year history, besting the six-match win streak of a year ago. It also marks the 17
th win this season for Thiel, the highest single-season total to date.
Thiel (17-8) dominated the contest, winning with game scores of 25-20, 25-14, and 25-17.
John Turner (Cambridge Springs, Pa./Cambridge Springs) led the Tomcat offensive attack with 10 kills while
Kyle Turkalj (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield Area) added five. Two different setters went over 10 assists as
Corey Hamilton (Meadville, Pa./Maplewood) and Charlie Tindall (Tarentum, Pa./Deer Lakes) distributed 18 and 14, respectively.
Colin Vitale (Pittsburgh, Pa./Montour) paced the defensive effort with 10 digs.
Thiel returns to action on Saturday, March 30 when they take on Hilbert College in Aurora, N.Y. at 3 p.m.
