Eastern Mennonite University's David Ward closes out the CVC regular season as the final Player of the Week for 2024. The junior helped lead the Royals to a pair of wins in the final weekend as they head into the CVC Tournament for the first time since 2018.

Ward averaged 2.86 kills per set over the two matches, totaling 20 kills with five service aces and three digs. He hit .559 over the two matches, committing just one error on 34 attempts. Ward had a high of 11 kills in his team's 3-1 win over Bluefield College.
