For the fifth time this season Southern Virginia University's Christian Sheaffer has been named the CVC Player of the Week. Sheaffer, a junior, helped the Knights remain undefeated; winning a pair of matches last week including a win over #8 Juniata College in a conference showdown.

Sheaffer totaled 39 kills, 11 digs, and 13 blocks in his two matches on the week. The outside hitter averaged 5.57 kills per set, hitting .414 on the week, with 1.86 blocks and 6.9 points per set. He also added two service aces and three assists.

Sheaffer had a high of 23 kills in a four-set win over Juniata, also recording eight block assists in that match. He followed with 16 kills against Elizabethtown and now has double-digit kills in 13 matches this season while helping Southern Virginia to a 22-0 record and a #2 ranking in Division III Men's Volleyball.
