Four in Latest Poll

For the first time this season the Continental Volleyball Conference is represented by four schools in the NVA/AVCA Men's Volleyball Division III poll. Listed in this week's Top 15 poll are Juniata College, Marymount University, Rutgers University-Newark, and Southern Virginia University. This marks the first time since March 30 of last season that the CVC has placed four teams on the Top 15 poll in the same week.

Juniata remains the highest-ranked CVC team, coming in at #3 on the poll with 287 points. The Eagles are 17-2 on the season and are on a two-match winning streak. They face #14 ranked UC Santa Cruz on Friday in addition to St. Norbert and Cal Lutheran on Saturday.

At #9 is Southern Virginia with 141 points. The Knights are on a three-match winning streak and will put that on the line with matches against CVC foes Roanoke and Randolph-Macon this weekend.

Marymount moved up one spot this week to #13 on the poll. The Saints totaled 62 points, nearly doubling their points from last week. They have won seven straight, including a win over ranked UC Santa Cruz and Nichols last weekend. They return to action with a match against Penn State-Altoona this Saturday.

Rutgers-Newark moved into the Top 15 poll this week with 20 points, placing #15. The Scarlet Raiders are 6-5 on the season and are coming off a five-set win over ranked New Paltz State. They will face Lancaster Bible on Wednesday before taking a pair of conference matches this weekend against Randolph-Macon and Eastern Mennonite.
