Southern Virginia, Juniata Start Season Nationally Ranked

A pair of teams from the Continental Volleyball Conference are ranked in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III Men's Preseason Coaches Poll. Southern Virginia University appeared at #7 on the national rankings while Juniata College comes in at #15 on the poll.

Southern Virginia, the defending CVC Champion, received 175 total points in the poll. The Knights finished last year 23-4 overall and moved up three spots from the final 2019 AVCA poll. Southern Virginia starts its season on January 17th against Mount St. Joseph. 

Juniata went 23-9 overall last season and return six starters from last year's team. The Eagles open their season on January 17th with a tri-match against Augustana and Wittenberg.

In addition to Southern Virginia and Juniata, Kean University, another CVC member; received votes; totaling 38 points in the poll.
