After a stellar senior season which earned him an AVCA All-American first-team selection, men's volleyball player Kamil Garbowski has inked a pro contract with FC Schüttorf 09 of 2 Bundesliga, a professional volleyball league in Germany.
FC Schüttorf 09 plays 24 regular season matches across a 12 team league. Schüttorf plays home matches at the Vechtesporthalle, an 800 seat arena in Schüttorf. The town of Schüttorf is located in the northwest corner of the country on the Netherlands border.
The Clifton, N.J. native racked up the postseason honors with first-team selections from the ECAC, NJAC, and CVC. During the season, he was named the NJAC Player of the Week four times, the CVC Player of the Week once and AVCA Division III National Player of the Week once.
