Southern Virginia University, who is the automatic bid winner from the Continental Volleyball Conference, will face Wells College in the first round of the 2019 NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball Championship. Southern Virginia, ranked #8 in the nation, secured the conference's automatic bid by winning the 2019 CVC Tournament 3-2 over Juniata College last weekend. Southern Virginia is currently 22-3 overall.
Wells, located in Aurora, N.Y., is currently 27-8 overall this season and won the North Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament to secure their automatic bid.
The two teams will play on Friday, April 19 at 5 p.m. in Hoboken, N.J. on the campus of Stevens Institute of Technology.
