Movement in AVCA Poll

Unlike previous weeks there was movement in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball poll with two teams from the Continental Volleyball Conference among those moving up in the rankings. Both Kean University and Southern Virginia University moved up two spots in the poll while Juniata College stayed ranked at #15.

Kean picked up 50 points in the poll from last week after pushing their season record to 16-3. The Cougars received two first-place votes this week, one of three teams to do so. They are now ranked #3 in the latest poll with 308 total points.

Southern Virginia came in #8 on this week's poll with 177 total points. They moved up two spots from last week and are currently 14-1 overall.

Juniata slipped one spot on the poll, picking up 25 points this week, tied for #15.

Carthage is the new #1 ranked team in the country, receiving 338 total points and 17 first-place votes. Springfield, who had been ranked first in every poll this season, moved down to #2 with 323 points; receiving five first-place votes.
