Three schools from the Continental Volleyball Conference open the year in the 2019 American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III Preseason Men's Volleyball Poll. Kean University, Marymount University, and Southern Virginia University represent the CVC and are among the top 15 teams in the poll.
Kean, the defending CVC Champion, is coming off a program record 34 wins last season and received 253 total points in the preseason poll; good for 4th in the nation.
Marymount received 109 total points, coming in 12th while Southern Virginia picked up 95 total points for 13th place on the poll.
