Big Weekend For Trio of Royals

It was a big weekend for a trio of Royals, highlighted by Tim Callahan setting the new program mark for career kills. Callahan, a senior, totaled 24 kills on Saturday and pushed him to 883 career kills. That number moves him past Justin Reesor's mark of 867 for the modern rally-scoring era record by a Royals player. Overall Callahan ranks fifth with Brandon Ratliff holding the all-time mark of 1150.

Saturday was also a big day for Royal setter Christian Taylor, who became the first player in NCAA Division III to reach the 1,000 assist mark this year. It marks the second straight year he has reached the plateau and he is the 3rd Royal to reach that mark in program history.

That same day Will Ragland also became the first Royal in program history to reach 700 career kills, 500 career digs, and 100 career aces.
