Corey Pieper claims his second Continental Volleyball Conference Player of the Week award this season, taking home the honor on March 19, 2018. Pieper put down an astounding 52 kills in just two matches last week, finishing with 26 kills in each of the outings including a win over #12 ranked Mount St. Joseph's. Pieper started the week with 26 kills in a five-set match against Wittenberg, hitting .339 while adding 10 digs and four total blocks. Later that night Pieper recorded another 26 kills, this time hitting .333, in a three-set sweep of the nationally ranked foe; setting a new conference record for kills in a three-set match. He also added three digs and two block assists in the match.
