CVC On the Road: Neumann University

Each week this season we will follow one Continental Volleyball Conference team as they head out on the road. This week's story is with Neumann University senior Pat Morgan. Pat took us through a week that including postponed matches and a non-conference road match against a nearby opponent.

"Last week we were preparing for some conference matches, including one against Cairn which was originally set for a Wednesday, then moved back to Thursday and finally pushed back to the following Monday (March 19). We were also going to play Kean on Saturday but had to move that to next Tuesday because of the snow."

"I am in my senior year, majoring in psychology, so during our snow day a few us took the free time we had to hit the gym and just get some rest."

"We are a first-year program and a lot of us spend a lot of time together and that includes eating dinner together at our campus dining hall."

"We finally got to a play a match for the first time in nearly three weeks when we faced Widener on Thursday. It isn't too long of a trip, just about 15 minutes, but it was still fun. We watched March Madness on our phones and everyone was cheering various teams that we root for. We are a close bunch so we told jokes and shared stories. Usually, on longer road trips we watch a movie or play games like Uno. And of course, we ALWAYS have food to snack on."

"A recurring debate we have had this year is what is the better place to stop; Wawa or Sheetz? It is a debate that still hasn't been solved."
