Pair of CVC Teams Remain In Top Five of AVCA Poll

Kean University and Marymount University remain in the top five of the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association Men's Volleyball Division III Coaches Poll. In addition, Southern Virginia University held steady in the poll while Eastern Mennonite University remains on the outside looking in.

Kean has won 11 straight to improve to 18-2 overall this season. They picked up 253 points in the poll this week, moving up one spot to #4 in the rankings. The Cougars face #15 ranked MSOE on Tuesday in addition to Concordia (Wis.) and will complete their week with matches against Marian (Wis.), Dominican (Ill.), and Aurora as they swing through the Midwest region.

Marymount is 14-5 overall and received 216 points; good for fifth-place on the poll. The Saints fell two spots from last week after having their three-match win streak snapped by Stevenson and will return to action with conference matches against Thiel and Juniata this weekend.

Southern Virginia, who entered the poll for the first time four weeks ago, held at #11 with 102 total points. The Knights are 13-6 overall and face Messiah in their only match this week.
