Randolph Macon To Join CVC

Randolph Macon College has received approval to join the Continental Volleyball Conference, beginning in the 2018-19 academic year. Randolph Macon will keep the league at 10 members after Thiel College departs following the upcoming season. 

Randolph Macon is located in Ashland, Va. and has an enrollment of over 1,400 students. The school's main athletic conference affiliation is with the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) and they offer 21 intercollegiate athletic programs. Men's Volleyball became the 18th varsity sport offered by the school when it was announced this past fall. The Yellow Jacket program will be coached by Jared Horrigan while Bill Rogers will serve as the Director of Volleyball and Savanna Love will be the Coordinator of Volleyball. 

In the 2019 season, the CVC will consist of Cairn University, Eastern Mennonite University, Juniata College, Kean University, Marymount University, Neumann University, Ramapo College, Randolph Macon College, Rutgers University-Newark, and Southern Virginia University. The CVC was formed in 2011 and original members include Cairn, Eastern Mennonite, Juniata.
