A pair of Continental Volleyball Conference teams cracked the top ten in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball Poll. Rutgers University-Newark sits at #5 in the latest poll while Stevenson University moved up to #10 in the rankings.
Rutgers-Newark received 190 points, dropping two spots to #5 after suffering their first loss of the season last week. The Scarlet Raiders are 8-1 on the year. Stevenson moved up three spots to #10, receiving 94 total points, after defeating the previously mentioned Scarlet Raiders.
Springfield is yet again #1 in the poll, with 251 points and 14 first-place votes. SUNY New Paltz received 239 points and the remaining three first-place votes to earn a #2 ranking. Carthage is ranked #3 and Nazareth is #4 to round out the top five of this week's poll.
