CVC PLAYER OF THE WEEK Jason Gardner, a freshman middle blocker from York, Pa., is this week's Continental Volleyball Conference Player of the Week. Gardner led his team to a pair of conference wins including a 3-0 sweep of previously undefeated and #3 ranked Rutgers-Newark. Gardner paced the Mustangs with 14 kills in their upset win, committing just four errors. In his teams season opening conference match over Cairn he totaled six kills in just two sets. On the week Gardner averaged 4.0 kills per set while hitting .441 and adding six digs. |
Other Notables:
- Tomasz Ksiazkiewski, Marymount University- Recorded 28 kills and 33.5 points over three matches last week.
- Cody Patterson, Thiel College - Patterson stood out in his teams two matches last week, finishing with 26 kills and 13 digs.
