Juniata and Carthage Earn Bids To Tournament

Juniata College and Carthage College have each earned a bid into the 2014 NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball Tournament.

Juniata and Carthage picked up two of the ten spots into this year's tournament field. Juniata earned one of six automatic berths by way of winning the Continental Volleyball Conference Tournament while Carthage picked up an at-large berth. Juniata is currently 27-4 on the season and ranked #3 in the latest AVCA Poll while Carthage is 22-7 overall and ranked #4 in the poll.

The six schools earning automatic berths are Baruch, Juniata, Rivier, Endicott, Kean and SUNY New Paltz. While Poll B berth goes to Springfield. Pool C berths include Carthage, MIT and Stevens Institute of Technology.

First-round competition will be Saturday, April 19 at Baruch and Endicott. The championship will be held April 25-27 at the Kennedy Sports Center, hosted by Juniata. To view an interactive bracket click HERE
