Record High 74 Student-Athletes Named Academic All-Conference

A Continental Volleyball Conference record high of 74 student-athletes were named to the 2014 Academic All-Conference team. 10 schools placed a player on the team, in which a student-athlete had to maintain a grade-point average of 3.3 or above.

This year's total nearly doubled last year's team of 39 student-athletes. Carthage College placed a conference high 15 players on the team while newcomer Lakeland College also reached double figures with 11 players on the team. A total of six teams had six or more players named to this year's team.
