Carthage’s  Wexter Named CVC Player of the Week

Milwaukee – Carthage junior setter Connor Wexter (New Lenox, Ill. / Lincoln-Way Central) receives the Continental Volleyball Conference player week for March 3. At the Lindenwood Invitational, Wexter was instrumental in leading the Red Men to a 2-1 finish.

Wexter and the Red Men tallied a three-set win over Fontbonne on Sunday March 3, bringing them to a 3-1 finish for the weekend. In 13 sets, Wexter had 142 assists, for a 10.92 assists per set average. He added 31 digs, 5 kills, 3 total blocks and 7 points to his weekly totals. This is Wexter’s first CVC Player of the Week award for 2013. Carthage is coached by LJ Marx.
