Stevenson’s  Jacoby Named CVC Player of the Week

Milwaukee – Stevenson’s junior outside hitter Austin Jacoby (Sellersville, Pa./ Pennridge) receives the Continental Volleyball Conference player week for Feb. 24. At the Baruch Invitational, Jacoby was a first team All-Tournament selection.

Jacoby and the Mustangs went 3-1 on the weekend, including victories over Rivier, Emmauel and Elmira before falling to MIT in five sets.

Jacoby had 63 kills and a .362 hitting percentage in 16 sets played. He had a 3.94 kills per set average to go along with his 1.93 digs per set and 70 total points for the tournament. This is Jacoby’s first CVC player of the week award for 2013. Stevenson is coached by Joe Tagye.
