Geary Named CVC Player of the Week

Milwaukee – MSOE senior middle hitter Jack Geary (Milwaukee, Wis./Marquette H.S.) receives the Continental Volleyball Conference player week for March 25.

Geary hit .450 (11 kills, 2 errors, 20 total attempts) in a five-set victory over Division II Quincy on Sunday. He added two blocks and four service aces to bring his point total to 17 points for the match. Against Fontbonne on Saturday, Geary hit .476 (12k-2e-21ta) and had 14.5 points for the match. In a five set loss to NAIA St. Xavier on Wednesday, March 20, Geary had ten kills, seven blocks and carried a .333 hitting percentage. Geary ended the week with 33 kills, 4 digs 13 toatl blocks, 5 service aces, 46.5 points and a .419 hitting percentage. 

This is Geary’s first CVC player of the week award. MSOE is coached by Brian Gibboney.
