Whitelock Named CVC Player of the Week

Milwaukee – Thiel sophomore middle hitter Michael Whitelock (So., MH - Pittsburgh, PA./Schenley) receives the Continental Volleyball Conference player week for March 31.

In a four set upset of nationally ranked Juniata, Whitelock had 13 kills on 20 attempts with only four errors. He hit .450 averaging 3.25 kills per set. Thiel was 3-0 on the week, including straight set victories over Keuka and Hilbert. During the week, Whitelock amassed 20 kills and hitting .412 (20-6-34) in ten sets played. He added ten digs, seven blocks and 26 points to his totals for the week.

This is Whitelock’s first CVC player of the week award. Thiel is coached by Steve Brewer.
