CVC Player of the Week - March 29, 2021
Jared Ray, Kean University

Ray, a sophomore from Phoenixville, Pa., was selected as the final Player of the Week for the Continental Volleyball Conference 2021 season. The outside hitter helped lead Kean to a doubleheader sweep of #9 ranked Rutgers University-Newark. In the two matches Ray totaled 29 kills, hitting .333, with 10 digs and five total blocks. He opened the series with 14 kills and 9 digs in a 3-1 victory before closing out the series with 15 kills and two aces. 

 
         
   

CVC Player of the Week - March 22, 2021
Jared Ray, Kean University

Ray, a sophomore outside hitter, helped Kean to three wins in four matches last week including a win over #5 Rutgers University-Newark. He recorded 26 kills in that match, adding eight digs and three blocks. For the week he totaled 57 kills, 18 digs, and six blocks; averaging 5.18 kills and 1.64 digs per set while hitting .411 over four matches.

 
         
   

CVC Player of the Week - March 15, 2021
Kevin Duffy, Juniata College

Kevin Duffy had a memorable week for Juniata, not only helping the Eagles to a win over Elizabethtown but doing so in a near-record fashion. Duffy tallied 18 kills with just errors on only 24 attacks in helping his team to a sweep of Immaculata, avenging a five-set loss earlier in the day. Hit hitting percentage of .708 was the third-best in a match in school history. On the week Duffy averaged 4.25 kills per set, totaling 34 kills in the two matches while hitting .640 with five total blocks.

 
         
   

CVC Player of the Week - March 8, 2021
Luke Hoffman, Juniata College

Hoffman, a freshman middle, led the Eagles to a pair of wins on the week including a win over #5 ranked Rutgers-Newark. Hoffman was a force at the net all week, recording 23 total kills and 11 total blocks in three matches. He started the week with 7 kills and 6 blocks in a win over Elmira. Hoffman hit .875 in that match, putting down his seven kills on just eight attempts. He followed with a weekly high of 9 kills in the first set of a doubleheader against Rutgers-Newark before closing out his week with 7 kills and 8 blocks in the win over the nationally-ranked Scarlet Raiders. On the week he averaged 1.92 kills and 1.42 blocks per set while hitting .486 and totaling 34.5 points.

 
         
   

CVC Player of the Week - March 1, 2021
Robert Bowling, Juniata College

Bowling led the Eagles to a pair of victories in their conference opening action this past weekend. The junior reached double-digit kills in both wins, totaling 27 kills while hitting .317 on the week. He had a high of 16 kills in the second match of a doubleheader against Marymount. In addition, Bowling added five digs in both matches and three aces on the day. 

 
         
   

CVC Player of the Week - February 22, 2021
Andrew Zaleck, Rutgers University-Newark

Zaleck wasted no time in picking up where he left off last spring, recording a career-high 28 kills in his team's season-opening win over New Jersey City. He put down the 28 kills on 39 attempts, hitting at a remarkable .641 clip for the match. Zaleck also added two aces and four blocks, registering 32 total points. The 28 kills are tied for the second-most ever by a CVC player in a four-set match.
